THE GODHEAD

We fully believe in the mystery of the Godhead. We believe that Jesus was both human and divine, further, that the Godhead be understood to mean all of the fullness of God. (Colossians 1:19; 2:9). We believe that Jesus was Mary’s son and Mary’s God, Creator and creature, God manifest in the flesh; that the flesh of Jesus was the same as ours with the exception that He had no sin: that Jesus was the Eternal Father made visible, apart from whom there is no God. We believe that at the final consummation of all things there will be only one God and that will be our Lord Jesus Christ.

DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

We believe that there is but one God, Creator of Heaven and earth, and all mankind. He was made known to mankind as Father-Creator, source origin and progenitor of all things and souls, universal Father and Father of eternity without body and parts; self-existent; that is existing of Himself and by Himself, omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. Secondly, He was made known as the son of man in redemption. This was done through coming into the world through the virgin birth, thus assuming a personality, second greatest mystery of all time. He was the Lamb of God according to the spirit. As the Holy Ghost-regenerator and perfector of those who believe, He is the organizer and element of the church, divine executor in the world.

We believe that we should earnestly contend for God’s standard of salvation, a holy spirit filled life in this present world. We believe in the remission of sin by baptism in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe in the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe that if we live for Him in this present world we shall reign with Him when He shall return for His church.

WHOLLY SANCTIFIED LIFE

It is our belief that in order to escape the judgment of God and have the hope of enjoying the glory of eternal life, one must be thoroughly saved from his sins, sanctified, unto God, and filled with the Holy Ghost, and that a wholly sanctified life is the only true standard of a Christian life.

Hebrews 12:14; I Peter 1:15-17. Some teach that entire sanctification takes place subsequent to justification and is the work of God wrought instantaneously upon the consecrated believing soul. This is not in keeping with the Bible, for we are taught in the scriptures that sanctification is the process which by the will of God we are made partakers of His Holiness that it is a progressive work that has its beginning in regeneration which is simultaneous with sanctification as the scripture teaches in Hebrew 10:14. Said the Lord, “I will put my laws into their hearts and in their minds I will write them and their sins and iniquities I shall remember no more. Now, where the remission of these is, there is no more offerings for sin.” Prayer incorporated with our watchfulness, self-denial, self-examination, and in the practice of all godliness, exercises and dealt unto completion, is our duty as Christians. According to, Philippians 1:6; 1 Thessalonians 4:3, 5:23; 2 Corinthians 7:1, 13:9; Ephesians 1:4; Proverbs 4:18; Philippians 1:12, 13; 2 Corinthians 4:11-12.

RESURRECTION AND TRANSLATION OF SAINTS

We believe that the time draweth near for the coming of the Lord, to make a change in the present of things and at that time, all the righteous dead shall be raised and we that are alive and living righteous before God shall be translated, shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. Matthew 23:36-42; St. Luke 17:20-27; 1 Corinthians 15:51; Philippians 3:20-21; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17.

BAPTISM

Our method of Baptism is in accordance with the Acts of the Apostles on the day of Pentecost Acts 2:38. That the baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ is the proper Biblical method for mankind to have sins removed from the presence of Its God.
